The Southern Highlands were well represented at this year’s Otto Sport Australia CDI 3*. Three of our breeding Studs had success in the Young Horse classes. Bluefields and Karizmah Performance Palominos were awarded the 6 year old champions with their magnificent stallions Bluefields Dankeschoen and pony champion for Charlie Sheen 5. Leanne Shead’s, Select Pony Breeding took out the 4 Year Old pony championship with HJK Marilyn Monroe and her stable mate RM Raspberry winning Reserve. Marilyn Monroe then went on to be crowned Champion Pony across all ages.

To our riders and their magnificent horses: Sophie Artup, Michelle Baker, Fiona Cox, Mark Dowling, Sue Hearn, Edwina Hutton Potts, Lisa Janke, Rodney Martin, David McKinnon, Brett Parbery, Sally-ann Quigley, Deon Stokes, Hunter Taylor and Rosann Tyler we salute you!! The countless hours you dedicate to your craft have seen some fabulous results.

And BDC committee member Mim Poolman was seen ringside judging many of the FEI classes, with Lesley Gray donning the yellow vest as a much needed steward.

The Highlands is truly establishing itself as the dressage capital of Australia!!!
